Elvis Fans Furious: 'Evolution' Show Fails to Deliver Hologram Promises

Elvis fans in London have been left disappointed and upset after attending the new immersive experience 'Elvis Evolution'. Despite being advertised as featuring AI and holographic projections of Elvis, the show did not include a hologram of the star, leading to refund requests and complaints.

The show, which combines live actors, musicians, and multimedia, aims to take fans through Elvis's life story. However, many attendees expected a traditional concert or hologram performance, feeling misled by the advertising. Some even described it as a 'low quality theatrical performance'.

Paige Rannigan, who attended the show, was left in tears, stating it was nothing like what was advertised or promised. Mark and Tracey Baldwin, who attended as VIPs, went as far as to call it 'absolutely atrocious' and felt exploited by the organizers. Lizzie Ward also visited the experience and is desperately trying to get a refund.

Critics have given mixed reviews to 'Elvis Evolution'. While The Telegraph awarded it one star, CityAM described it as 'incredibly touching'.

On Sunday, some shows were cancelled for 'security reasons' after an attendee was removed for verbally aggressive behavior towards staff.

Tickets for 'Elvis Evolution' range from Β£75 to Β£300, with some fans feeling they were conned and mis-sold the experience. Layered Reality, the company behind the show, acknowledged expectations of a hologram concert but stated the concept evolved over time. The company has not yet commented on the refund requests and complaints from disappointed fans.
